This will be a wee post – but I’ve noted that I feel envious of Greg Mortenson as I fly though “Three Cups of Tea” (my goodness it’s a compelling book) – for his great sense of purpose as he works to build schools in a remote area of Pakistan. Not only a purpose, but a noble purpose. Seems to me one could bear a lot with a noble purpose pulling one forward.
So suddenly I’m restless and wondering how I want to do “my one wild and precious life” as Mary Oliver says.
How about you? Do you feel pulled forward? Maybe by being a parent, or a teacher, or your love of music? What pulls you through and makes you leap out of bed in the morning?
